Become part of the movement!

There are Walk for Warmth events all across the country as other Community Action Agencies raise awareness for this important cause. 100% of all proceeds benefit our friends and neighbors in Muskegon and Oceana County who are facing heating emergencies and utility shut-off. Walk for Warmth funds Emergency Utility Assistance through MOCAP, a Community Action Agency. Funds are used throughout the year, but many people associate utility emergencies with the cold winter months.  In 2017, 16 Community Action Agencies in Michigan raised a total of $410,796 through Walk for Warmth events.

The 2018 Walk for Warmth/Skate for Warmth will be held at L.C. Walker Arena at 955 4th St, Muskegon, Michigan.  The event is non-competitive and is family friendly.  You can either take laps on the ice or laps around the walkway this year.

Registration will be Saturday, February 10th; 3:00 p.m.– 3:30 p.m. the day of the walk; Registration forms will be available on-site as well as being available below. For more information please contact Todd Rasmussen 231-725-9499.
