Who is eligible for services?

Eligibility for certain programs is based upon income guidelines correspondent to household size.

I am seeking assistance with my gas, electric, water or rent. What do I do to begin gaining help?

Please start the process by stopping by the agency.  You can pick up a packet of instructions to apply for services.  We are open Mon, Tues, Thurs, and Fri: 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Wednesday: 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.  Closed for major holidays.

I am wondering what the status of my application is.

The approval process takes 7 to 10 business days to be reviewed and processed.  Once a decision has been made you will receive notification via mail.

What if I have been told that the agency is out of funding?

For emergency services such as rental funds or utility assistance please note there’s no guarantee of fund availability.  Funds are distributed on a first come, first serve basis.  If you would like you can call 211 for more options or visit the local DHHS department.

Can I receive help more than once?

We only offer services once per calendar year, from date of service.
